Nursing Informatics Analyst/Consultant
Remote with Event Based Travel - 3 events

Overview of experience
- Provides and engages in clinical design sessions
- Participates in and/or leads design sessions.
- Configuring and building using the Cerner build tools
- Reviews and approves workflows, operating procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supports standardization of care practice and associated workflow processes across the care settings.
- Presents and prepares content and decisions to governance committees
- Provides clinical instruction to new and existing staff. Facilitates learning by using the clinical information system to show clinical workflow and practices to staff in a classroom or at designated workstation, promoting skill development.
- Provides phone support to staff/providers to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues and/or user difficulties experienced
- Learn and maintain system build
- Understand solution design recommendations
- Validates specification documentation
- Develops detailed application specifications
- Documents changes in user processes and assists with business process redesign
- Responsible for attending project events and monitoring the completion of deliverables according to the project timeline
- Work with the departmental/functional teams to develop and execute test plans and scripts
- Investigate and help resolve application issues
- Help with system issue resolution
- Participate as an Integration Testing & Go Live team member
- Provide application assistance to the departmental/functional team
- Support end-user training
- Provide ongoing post Go Live support for IT department"
